Privacy Policy
MDPG is a reference website for NEET-PG candidates. This policy explains what information the site collects, why it may be collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Last updated 8 October 2026
The short version: a few searches a day need no account at all. Beyond that daily limit, continuing asks you to sign in with Google — which tells us your name and email address and nothing else — or to buy a one-time pass. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
1. Using MDPG
You can read the website — what it is, where the data comes from, the disclaimer and this policy — and run a small number of searches each day without creating an account or giving us your name, email address, or other personal information.
Searching has a daily limit for visitors who are not signed in, and once that limit is reached the counselling sections are not available again until the next day. This exists to keep the site affordable to run and to limit automated scraping, not to collect information about you. If you reach the limit and want to continue the same day, you can sign in with Google or buy a one-time pass — see section 5.
The website provides information relating to NEET-PG counselling, seat allotments, cutoffs, and related publicly available information. The data published on the site is compiled from documents and information published by relevant authorities and is provided for reference.
2. Information we may receive
When you visit a website, certain basic technical information may be processed automatically by the services that operate the website. This can include information such as:
- IP address
- browser and device information
- pages requested
- date and time of a request
- information needed to maintain security, reliability, and prevent abuse
MDPG does not use this information to create a personal profile of you.
3. Cookies
MDPG may use cookies or similar browser storage where necessary for the website to function properly. These may be used for things such as:
- remembering necessary website settings;
- maintaining the functionality of the website; and
- preventing abuse or excessive automated requests.
MDPG does not use advertising cookies or cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some website functionality may be affected if necessary cookies are disabled.
4. Search information
MDPG is designed so that searches are used to produce the requested result rather than to build a personal search history.
We do not intentionally create a profile of which colleges, courses, categories, or ranks an individual visitor is interested in.
5. Signing in with Google
Signing in is optional. It exists so that a visitor who needs more searches than the daily limit allows can continue, and so that anyone who pays for access later can be recognised on more than one device.
If you choose to sign in, Google tells MDPG your name and your email address, and nothing else. MDPG does not ask Google for access to your contacts, calendar, files, or any other Google service, and it cannot read them.
What MDPG stores when you sign in:
- your name and email address;
- an identifier Google uses for your account, so that a changed email address updates your account rather than creating a second one;
- the number of searches you have run today, and the date — a count and a date, not what you searched for; and
- if you buy a pass, the mobile number you enter at checkout, a record of that payment and the date the access expires. The payment itself is taken by Cashfree; your card or UPI details are entered on Cashfree’s own form and never reach MDPG. The mobile number is required by the payment provider and is kept so you are not asked for it again.
What MDPG does not store is a history of your searches. The daily count is a number; it does not record which ranks, colleges or courses you looked at, and there is no record that could be read to find out. Section 4 applies to signed-in visitors exactly as it does to everyone else.
You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it by writing to the address in section 16.
6. Analytics
MDPG may use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and whether the site is functioning properly.
Analytics are used to improve the website and understand overall usage. They are not intended to identify individual visitors or create a profile of their interests.
Where possible, information that could reveal the contents of a user’s search is excluded from analytics.
7. Feedback
If you contact MDPG through the feedback facility, the information you choose to provide may be used to understand your question, investigate a problem, respond to you, or improve the website.
You do not need to provide your email address unless you want a response. Information provided through feedback is not used for advertising.
8. Service providers
MDPG relies on third-party service providers to operate parts of the website: hosting and website infrastructure, a database for the counters and accounts described above, Google for optional sign-in, and Cashfree Payments to take payment if you buy a pass.
These providers may process limited technical information as necessary to provide their services, maintain reliability, detect abuse, and keep the website secure.
MDPG does not sell personal information to these providers or provide personal information to third parties for their own advertising purposes.
9. Information we do not sell or use for advertising
MDPG does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or behavioural advertising. We do not operate a data-broker or advertising business.
10. Security
MDPG uses reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the website. The website is served over HTTPS, which encrypts information transmitted between your browser and the website.
However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that materially affects information we hold, we will take appropriate steps to investigate and respond.
11. How long information is kept
MDPG keeps information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including maintaining website security, responding to feedback, and operating the website.
Technical logs and similar information may also be retained for a limited period by the infrastructure providers used to operate the site.
12. Your choices
You can:
- browse and read MDPG without creating an account, and search without one up to the daily limit;
- ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it, by writing to the address in section 16;
- control or delete cookies through your browser;
- choose whether to provide contact information when submitting feedback; and
- contact us if you have a question about information associated with you.
13. Data published on MDPG
MDPG publishes reference information compiled from publicly available documents, including documents published by organisations such as KNRUHS and MCC.
Where source documents contain candidate information, MDPG takes steps appropriate to the source and purpose of the site to avoid unnecessarily exposing personal information.
The site’s handling and presentation of published source data is also described in the Disclaimer & Terms of Use.
14. Children
MDPG is intended for NEET-PG candidates and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
15. Changes to this policy
If the way MDPG handles information changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was most recently updated.
16. Contact
If you have a question about this Privacy Policy or want to ask about information associated with you, please contact us through the feedback page.
